Steve Obia has a diverse work experience across various industries and roles. Steve currently holds the position of Director Services & Success at Pharos since 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an Independent Consultant from 2018 to 2023, where they held multiple roles including Director Customer Success EMEA, Vice President Customer Success, and Customer Success Director at Jive Software.

Before becoming an Independent Consultant, Steve was self-employed from 2015 to 2018, working as a Management Consultant. During this time, they focused on helping companies reinvent themselves by taking on various change management, organization dynamics, leadership, teambuilding, and communication projects.

From 2013 to 2014, Steve worked as the Director of IT at Vialinx SA. Steve was responsible for coordinating a wide range of duties, including the execution of new business and operational procedures, designing custom software, and transitioning the IT infrastructure from legacy systems to new integrated systems.

Prior to that, Steve worked as a Consultant / Independent from 2010 to 2013, mainly as a Software Developer and Technical Project Manager. Steve also served as the COO at Visionary iGaming from 2010 to 2011, where they oversaw various aspects of operations, including hiring, payroll, production, IT support, and supplier management.

Steve's earlier experiences include working as the Director of Operations at PokerStars from 2008 to 2010, where they streamlined customer service operations across different countries, and holding multiple roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise from 1987 to 2008, such as Software Delivery Manager, Worldwide Telecom Software Manager, Latin America Software Delivery Manager, OpenView Support Manager, OpenView Software Consultant, and Network Consultant.

Steve Obia attended North East London Polytechnic from 1984 to 1987, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, with a focus on Computer Engineering. Steve then pursued further education at Alameda Business School from 1996 to 1999, and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Business.
