John Matuga

John Matuga is a seasoned security professional currently employed at J&J Gaming since November 2022. Prior to this role, John Matuga served in various capacities at the Village of Itasca from November 2000 to November 2022, including Deputy Chief of Operations, Deputy Chief of Administration, Watch Commander, and Neighborhood Police Officer Supervisor. John's earlier experience includes positions at Northern Illinois University as an MSP Motorcycle Instructor teaching the Basic Rider Course, as well as a decade at W.W. Grainger as a Facility Maintenance Technician and Engineering Technician. John Matuga holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management from National Louis University and an Associate of Applied Science from Southern Illinois University. Additionally, John Matuga completed the 138th Administrative Officers Course in Law Enforcement Administration at the University of Louisville.
