Michael Lehmberg

Michael Lehmberg is an accomplished architect with extensive experience in sustainable design and civic projects. Currently serving as a Planning Commissioner for the City of Auburn, CA, since August 2022, Michael also holds the position of Principal - Director of Design at JK Architecture Engineering, where responsibilities include leading design efforts for a variety of projects across Northern California. Previous roles include Senior Associate at Swatt Miers Architects, where Michael was instrumental in guiding sustainable design practices, and Senior Associate at NTD Architecture, with a focus on building design and project management. Michael's early career highlights include Director of Sustainable Design at Williams + Paddon, where achievements included establishing the firm as a leader in sustainable design, and Senior Project Manager at LPA, Inc., where efforts helped the firm embrace LEED standards. Michael holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Arizona and an honorary degree from Universidad La Salle, A.C.
