Deb Kinney

Deb Kinney currently serves as Managing Attorney at TrustParencyPC and Of Counsel at Blacksburg Law, while also acting as a Trust and Estate Mediator for SF Probate Court. As a Founding Partner and Of Counsel at Johnston, Kinney & Zulaica LLP, Deb has been recognized as a Super Lawyer in 2020 and holds a certification as a specialist in Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Law from the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. Previously, Deb founded and managed DLK Law Group, a firm dedicated to trusts and estates with a special focus on LGBT law before marriage equality, contributing to legislative efforts aimed at protecting LGBT families. Deb holds a Juris Doctorate from New College of California School of Law and a graduate degree in Gender, Leadership, and Public Policy from UMass Boston.
