Previously, Deb founded and managed DLK Law Group, a firm dedicated to trusts and estates with a special focus on LGBT law before marriage equality, contributing to legislative efforts aimed at protecting LGBT families. Deb holds a Juris Doctorate from New College of California School of Law and a graduate degree in Gender, Leadership, and Public Policy from UMass Boston.
