Scott Pittman

Scott Pittman has extensive work experience in finance and leadership roles. Scott is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at JLab since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Financial Officer at PetroShale Inc. from November 2020 to February 2022. Scott also held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Chaparral Energy from March 2019 to May 2020. Scott served as the Chief Financial Officer at Ursa Resources from May 2016 to March 2019. Before that, Scott was the Vice President Finance at Cobalt International Energy from June 2015 to May 2016. Scott also served as the Chief Financial Officer at Aethon Energy from February 2014 to June 2015.

Scott started their career at J.P. Morgan in June 2006, where they held the roles of Vice President from June 2006 to February 2012. Scott then resumed the position of Vice President from February 2012 to February 2014. Their responsibilities included providing capital markets advice and mergers & acquisition expertise to oil and gas clients, with a focus on upstream and refining companies. Before entering the finance sector, Scott served as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps from June 1999 to August 2004.

Scott Pittman's education history begins in 1994 when they attended the University of Oklahoma - Price College of Business. Scott pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Information Systems. Their studies continued until 1999.

After completing their undergraduate degree, Scott went on to attend the Texas McCombs School of Business from 2004 to 2006. During this period, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance.
