Michael Birnie

Michael Birnie is an experienced sustainability leader based in Australia, with a passion for green growth. They hold a PhD in Sustainable Building Technology from the University of Nottingham and are a Chartered Energy Engineer and member of the Energy Institute. Michael has held various roles, including Associate Director and Energy Program Manager at CBRE, and most recently, they served as Director of Energy Services at JLL. Their extensive experience in energy management spans multiple organizations, including VolkerFitzpatrick Ltd and Mace Group. They also completed an Associate Project Manager Level 4 Apprenticeship through ELA Training Services.
