Steven Smith

Steven Smith, PE, is a seasoned Senior Project Manager at JLL, leading science and technology projects since February 2022, focusing on specialized lab environments. In addition to this role, Steven serves as a Course Instructor for the HVAC Maintenance Course in the Facilities Engineering Management Diploma Program at North Carolina State University. Previous experience includes serving as Facility Engineer/Project Manager at the National Institutes of Health, overseeing operations for extensive research facilities, and as a Civil Engineer at USDA, where responsibilities included design and construction leadership throughout North Carolina. Steven also held the position of Senior Project Engineer with the US Army Corps of Engineers, managing military construction projects, and began the engineering career as a Civil Engineering Intern with NCDOT. Steven holds a Master of Building Construction from Auburn University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University.
