Hammad Sheikh

Hammad Sheikh has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Hammad most recently worked at JM Bullion as the Manager - Enterprise Architecture, where they were responsible for building highly scalable and secure solutions using Lumen microservices and AWS API Gateways. Prior to that, they served as the Technical Lead - eCommerce Solutions and Senior Software Engineer at JM Bullion.

Before joining JM Bullion, Hammad worked at Snowfall Technologies LLC as a Senior PHP Developer. Hammad also gained valuable experience at Direct Energy, where they worked as a Senior Developer and played a significant role in the development and delivery of websites for several brands under Project Unify. Hammad worked extensively with technologies such as PHP7, Symfony, MySQL, CodeIgniter, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, Bootstrap, and CSS3.

Hammad also worked as a Magento Developer at American Achievement Corporation and as a LAMP Stack Developer at LegalEASE, a LEGAL ACCESS Company. Hammad gained experience in PHP5, Magento, WordPress, MySQL, React.js, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, Bootstrap, SASS, and CSS3.

Earlier in their career, Hammad worked as a Software Engineer at Digital Globe Services, Inc., where they delivered key projects and developed and maintained internet apps and websites using PHP and MySQL. Hammad also gained experience in integrating projects with different client-side technologies and building reporting panels with various filtering options.

Hammad's work experience also includes roles as a Software Engineer at Ovrlod, where they developed and maintained websites and interactive Facebook apps and games, and as a PHP Developer at WizTech Pakistan, where they built static and dynamic websites using HTML, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and jQuery.

Hammad started their career as a WEB DEVELOPER (Consulting Intern) at Compsi (Pvt.) Ltd., where they worked closely with the management to develop corporate and e-commerce websites. Hammad also served as a DEVELOPER INTERN (Remote) at Acom, where they improved and maintained their website.

Throughout their career, Hammad Sheikh has consistently demonstrated their expertise in web development, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, and various frameworks and technologies. Hammad is known for their strong problem-solving skills, architectural design abilities, and ability to deliver high-quality solutions.

Hammad Sheikh completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Hamdard University, where they studied from 2008 to 2012.

Hammad then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Cyber Security from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Their enrollment at the institute was from 2021 to 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Hammad Sheikh has obtained several certifications in the field of information and application security. Hammad completed certifications in Application Security - Secure Software Coding, Application Security - Secure Software Concepts, Application Security - Secure Software Design, Application Security - Defending PHP, and Information Security - OWASP. These certifications were obtained in 2017 from Security Compass.
