Betsy Benjamin Thomas

Betsy Benjamin Thomas is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategic technology initiatives and internal audit. Currently serving as Director of Strategic Technology Initiatives and Chief of Staff at JM Family Enterprises, Inc., Betsy has played a key role in various high-level positions since October 2020. Prior roles include Director of Internal Audit and Chief Audit Executive, as well as Director of Global Fund Administration and Reporting/Assistant Treasurer, and Internal Audit Manager at Franklin Templeton Investments from June 2008 to September 2020. Earlier experience includes assurance and advisory services at Ernst & Young, where Betsy worked as an Independent auditor for large SEC filers, along with an internship in assurance services at Arthur Andersen LLP. Betsy holds a Master of Accountancy specializing in Taxation and Accounting, along with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a minor in Economics, both from the University of Florida.
