Evan Wayton

Evan Wayton has a diverse work experience in the fields of RF engineering and glass blowing. Evan has the most recent experience at JMA Wireless, where they currently hold the position of Senior Principal RF Antenna Engineer since April 2022. Prior to this role, Evan worked as a Senior RF Antenna Engineer at JMA Wireless from May 2019 to April 2022, and as an Antenna Engineer from April 2016 to April 2019.

Before joining JMA Wireless, Evan worked at Snake Oil Glassworks, Inc. as a Glass Blowing Assistant from March 2013 to present. Evan also gained experience in RF engineering at Anaren Microwave, where they held various roles. Evan worked as an RF Engineer II from November 2015 to April 2016, and as an RF Engineer I from May 2013 to November 2015. Evan also completed co-op positions at Anaren Microwave as an RF Engineering Co-op from May to August 2012, December 2011, and May to August 2011. Evan additionally held the position of Ferrite Engineering Co-op from January to May 2009, and RF Engineering Co-op from May to August 2008.

In addition to their work experience, Evan also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Syracuse University from May to August 2012, assisting in teaching a graduate-level electromagnetism course.

Evan Wayton completed their education in a chronological manner. Evan began their academic journey at The University of Toledo, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from 2006 to 2011. Afterward, they enrolled at Syracuse University and obtained a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from 2011 to 2013. Building upon their master's degree, Evan furthered their education at Syracuse University for another substantial period from 2014 to 2022. During this time, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
