Michael Snyder has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Michael is currently working as a Senior Engineer, Controls at JMA Wireless since October 2021. Before that, they worked at Schneider Packaging Equipment Co., Inc. from January 2020 to October 2021 as a Senior Software Developer, and from December 2016 to January 2020 as a Senior Control Engineer. Michael also worked at O'Brien & Gere as a Control Systems Engineer from September 2015 to December 2016, and at PaperWorks Industries, Inc. as a Controls Engineer from October 2014 to September 2015. Prior to that, from September 2002 to October 2014, they worked at Schneider Packaging Equipment Co., Inc. as a Controls Eng. Michael started their career at Automated Cells and Equipment as an Applications technician from September 2001 to September 2002, where they specialized in using FANUC robotics Roboguide software for feasibility analysis and project layout, as well as electrical design and PLC programming.

Michael Snyder attended SUNY Canton from 1997 to 1999, where they earned an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Mechanical Engineering. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the following:

- In February 2022, they completed the "Programming with Python" certification from Carnegie Mellon University School of Computer Science.

- In December 2012, they became a "Certified Expert Robot Technologist" from the Robotic Industries Association.

- In April 2014, they obtained the "CVP-Advanced" certification from AIA - Advancing Vision + Imaging.
