Masatoshi Adachi

Masatoshi Adachi currently serves as Senior Executive Officer (DWH), Chief Data Protection Officer, and General Counsel at JMDC Inc. since January 2021. Additionally, Masatoshi is a Board Member for the Intellectual Property Acceleration Program for Startups (IPAS) at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and Managing Partner at In-House Hub Tokyo. Previous roles include Security & Privacy Counsel at both LINE Healthcare and LINE Corp, Senior Counsel for Legislation at the Japan Patent Office, and Associate at JONES DAY® within the Intellectual Property & IT Practice Group. Masatoshi also has experience as an Adjunct Lecturer at The University of Tokyo and completed legal training as a Legal Apprentice at The Supreme Court of Japan. Educational credentials include a JD and a B.E. in Medical Engineering from The University of Tokyo.
