Abby Klauer is an accomplished microbiologist at JMI Laboratories since July 2014, specializing in mycology MIC determination and the identification of bacteria and fungi through various testing methods, including MALDI-TOF results. With extensive training in susceptibility testing techniques and adherence to safety protocols, Abby has contributed to drug development protocols and laboratory procedure writing in compliance with CLSI guidelines. Prior experience as a Nursing Assistant and Psychiatric Nursing Assistant at the University of Iowa involved performing essential medical procedures and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide patient care and support. Abby holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Human Physiology from the University of Iowa.
