Elena Neuhaus

Elena Neuhaus is a microbiologist with current experience at JMI Laboratories, where responsibilities include isolating and identifying bacterial pathogens, performing MIC testing, conducting quality control, and adhering to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and OSHA regulations. Previously, at the University of Iowa, Elena Neuhaus served as a research assistant, engaging in participant recruitment, medical record evaluation, rodent husbandry, and various bench studies, while also being recognized as an IINSPIRE – LSAMP grant recipient. Earlier in the career, Elena Neuhaus worked as a general chemistry tutor at the ISU Academic Success Center, supporting students through lesson reinforcement and skill development. Elena Neuhaus holds a degree in Human Physiology from the University of Iowa and attended Iowa State University prior.
