Jill Amaya

Jill Amaya is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in content creation and technical editing. Currently serving as a Technical Editor at JMP since November 2024, Jill previously held significant roles at IBM from May 1997 to October 2024, including Content Initiative Manager, where work involved collaboration with authors to produce original content on emerging web technologies, and Technical Writer, focusing on information development for Retail Store Solutions products. Earlier in their career, Jill worked as an Editorial Assistant at Sykes Enterprises Inc. from September 1990 to May 1997, overseeing technical document projects. Jill holds an Associate of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies from St. Petersburg College and a B.A. in Mass Communications from the University of South Florida.
