Alejandro Worthington

Alejandro joined JMW in May 2019 as a Partner in the Corporate Recovery & Insolvency department in the London office.

Alejandro’s clients include insolvency practitioners (on both corporate and personal matters), banks and other lenders, directors and their businesses. Alejandro advises on both contentious (including director disqualification, s.216 matters and bankruptcy annulments) and transactional matters as well in respect of company restorations and certain aspects of licensing law. He also acts for creditors, including in the pursuit and collection of debts.

Alejandro’s insolvency and restructuring experience covers a broad range of sectors including care homes, the leisure industry, manufacturing, construction, financial services and sport.

He also acts for individuals and companies on issues arising out of personal and corporate guarantees, as well as advising on general commercial and banking litigation matters. Alejandro has been praised by clients for his “hard work” and his “tactical and commercial advice”.
