Laura Wharton

Laura joined JMW in November 2020, as a Senior Associate in the Employment Department before becoming a Partner in 2022.

Laura advises a wide range of clients from multi-national brands and SMEs to start-ups in all aspects of non-contentious employment law advice.

Laura has a particular specialism in contentious tribunal work and assisting corporate departments on the employment aspects of transactional work including mergers and acquisitions and due diligence. Due to her experience in corporate transactional support work, she has recently advised a number of high-net-worth individuals about their exit from a business.
