Brian Graziano has a long and varied work experience. Brian began their career in 2004 as an Undergraduate Researcher in the Kerry Bloom Lab at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In 2006, they moved to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine, taking on the role of Research Specialist in the Department of Epidemiology. Brian then moved to Brandeis University in 2008, taking on the role of Graduate Researcher in the Bruce Goode Lab. In 2015, they took on the role of Teaching Assistant at the Marine Biological Laboratory. In 2014, they began their work at UCSF, first as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Orion Weiner Lab, then as a Project Lead for a Course in Cellular Engineering, a Speaker and Trainer for the European Molecular Biology Laboratory, and Co-chair of the Directed Cell Migration Gordon Research Seminar. In 2020, they began their current role as Principal Scientist and Senior Scientist I at Jnana Therapeutics.
Brian Graziano has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular and Cell Biology with a Specialization in Quantitative Biology from Brandeis University, which they obtained between 2008 and 2014. Brian also has a BS in Biology and Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, which they obtained between 2002 and 2006.
