Javohir Nurmetov has a diverse work experience in various organizations. In 2006, they started as an Attaché and Third Secretary at the Mission of Uzbekistan to the European Union. Later, in 2010, they became the First Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs until 2012. From 2013 to 2016, Javohir worked as the First Secretary and Charge d'Affaires a.i. at the Permanent Mission of Uzbekistan to the UN Office in Switzerland. In 2016, they co-founded JNSLABS, a company where they currently hold a position. And in 2021, they joined UNDP as a Project Manager for the Central Asia Women Leaders Caucus Project.
Javohir Nurmetov has a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs from The University of World Economy and Diplomacy, which they obtained from 1996 to 1998. Javohir also has a Bachelor's degree in Science Politique from UVSQ Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, which they completed from 1999 to 2000. In addition, they studied Science politique at Sciences Po from 1998 to 1999, and International Relations and National Security Studies at Sciences Po Toulouse from 2002 to 2003.
