Solana Chehtman

Solana Chehtman is an accomplished arts professional currently serving as the Director of Artist Programs at the Joan Mitchell Foundation since August 2022. Previously, Chehtman held key positions at The Shed in New York, including Director of Creative Practice and Social Impact and Director of Civic Programs from April 2019 to August 2022. Additionally, Chehtman worked as an Adjunct Professor at Baruch College, specializing in Museum and Gallery Management within an MA in Arts Administration program. Prior experience includes roles at the Friends of the High Line, the Tribeca Film Institute, and various internships at prominent institutions such as The Museum of Modern Art and the New Museum.
