Aaron Martin has a diverse work experience in the field of disability services. Aaron started their career as a Direct Support Professional at Stone Belt Center, where they provided care and support for individuals with disabilities. Aaron then became a Group Home Manager at Christole, Inc., where they demonstrated strong leadership skills in managing a therapy group home for adults with Asperger's syndrome and autism. Aaron then worked as an Associate Director at Special Neighbors, where they collaborated with the Executive Director to improve organizational performance and achieve multiple three-year CARF accreditations. Following that, they served as the Executive Director-CEO at Foundation Workshop, Inc., successfully leading the agency's turnaround and implementing best practices in nonprofit management. Currently, Aaron is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Job One, where they provide strategic leadership and vision to enhance employment services for individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment.

Aaron Martin attended Indiana University Bloomington from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Sociology. Aaron later pursued further education at the University of Missouri-Kansas City from 2003 to 2005, earning a Master's degree in Nonprofit Management.

Job One enhances the lives of adults with disabilities by providing a lifetime of meaningful employment choices. We do this through entrepreneurship and partnership with the business community. Our business services include commercial and industrial subcontracting, secure document destruction, recycling, custodial, mailroom and administrative/clerical. We also develop community employment opportunities for individuals. Job One was formed in 2011 by the merger of Foundation Workshop, Inc. (1975), and IBS Industries, Inc. (1967). Today we serve over 300 adults with disabilities in Jackson County, Mo.
