Duane Hennessy

Duane Hennessy has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in data analysis and database administration. Duane is currently employed as a Senior Data Analyst at JobAdder since June 2022. Prior to this, they held a long-term position at Coles Group P/L from January 2008 to May 2022, where they served as a Senior Database Administrator. Duane is proficient in SQL Server and has expertise in Powershell, TSQL, and Regular Expressions. Duane'srole involved designing and optimizing databases and providing coding solutions to other teams.

Before Coles Group, Duane worked as a Database Administrator at 123 Global in 2007 and as a Database Administrator/System Architect Support at CorpTech from November 2005 to June 2007. In the latter role, they improved system performance by implementing XML and XSLT processes and provided exceptional customer support.

In 2003, Duane held two positions as a Database Developer. At Logan City Council, they created award-winning Claims Management and Risk Management Systems, introducing the concept of 'Thematic Mapping' using satellite imaging software. Duane also worked at Queensland Government, Maritime Safety Branch in the same year.

Duane's work history also includes a role as a Software Engineer (Contract) at ColesMyer Ltd, Productivity Support Team from March 2001 to May 2003.

Duane Hennessy obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art (Printmaking, Computer Design and Communication) from RMIT University during the years 1994 to 1997. In 2018, they pursued a Diploma of Professional Coaching at the Australian Institute of Professional Coaches. In addition to their educational qualifications, Hennessy also obtained various certifications including "Getting Started" from JobAdder in June 2022, "Become an Entrepreneur Inside a Company", "Business Innovation Foundations", "Design Thinking: Implementing the Process", "Design Thinking: Understanding the Process", and "Workshop Facilitation" from LinkedIn in December and November 2018. Duane also holds the "ICF Member Badge" from the International Coaching Federation, obtained in March 2021, and the "Scrum Master Certified (SMC)" from Theanthropy, acquired in March 2018.
