James Lovell

James Lovell has over 20 years of work experience in various roles in the field of database development and administration. James is currently working as a Data Migration Lead at JobAdder since July 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Lead Consultant and Senior ETL Consultant at Arum from January 2021 to July 2022 and January 2020 to January 2021, respectively. James also worked as a Senior SQL Server Developer at Audley Travel from June 2019 to December 2019. James has previous experience as an SQL Server Consultant at Wescot Credit Services Limited and TSB Bank from April 2018 to May 2019 and June 2017 to March 2018, respectively. James was also employed at Barclays as a Business Intelligence Developer from September 2015 to March 2017 and as an SQL Server Database Administrator from March 2015 to September 2015. Earlier in their career, James held positions such as Senior SQL Server Database Administrator and Senior SQL Developer at Scotts of Stow from July 2014 to March 2015 and October 2011 to July 2014, respectively. James also worked as an SQL DBA at TM Group from October 2009 to October 2011. In the early years of their career, James worked at Jaywing as a Database Developer from February 2003 to October 2009 and at LogicaCMG as a Database Developer and Web Application Developer from August 2001 to August 2002 and September 2000 to August 2001, respectively.

James Lovell studied at the University of South Wales from 1996 to 2000, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Studies. Additionally, they obtained several certifications from Microsoft, including Microsoft SQL Server 2008, Database Development (MCTS: 70-433) in March 2011, Microsoft SQL Server 2008, Implementation and Maintenance (MCTS: 70-432) in October 2010, and Development Introduction In Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 (MCDS: MB6-819) in July 2010.
