Marje Salumets

Marje Salumets has a diverse work experience in the field of IT and cybersecurity. Marje is currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at Jobbatical since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an ISO27001 Auditor at Bureau Veritas Group from September 2022. Marje also held the position of a Board Member at Revision IT ÖÜ since June 2014. Marje Salumets has expertise as the Head of Security Advisory Team at CYBERS from July 2019 to October 2022. Marje has also worked as an IT Consultant and Apple Technician at Valge Klaar from January 2015 to March 2019, where they played a crucial role in implementing and designing corporate infrastructure with Apple devices for multiple local businesses. Additionally, they served as an IT and Cyber Security Project Manager at Trustcorp ÖÜ from 2015 to March 2019.

Marje Salumets completed their Master's degree in Cyber/Computer Forensics from TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security Technologies from the same university from 2017 to 2020. Marje also holds a Diploma in Customer Service Management and Psychology from Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences / EEK Mainor. In terms of certifications, they have achieved the ISO 27001 Lead Auditor - Information Security Certification from PECB in 2021, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) from Cisco in 2019, Cyber Defence Information Exchange from NATO in 2018, and Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA) from Cisco in 2017. Additionally, Marje has received Apple Sales and Technician Professional training from Apple in 2015 and (ISC)2 Security CISSP Training (not certified) from (ISC)².
