Austin Engle

Austin Engle has worked in various roles since 2015. In 2015, they worked as a Server at Hy-Vee Market Cafe and as a Front Desk Technician at WCI Technologies. In 2016, they worked as a Missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and as a Computer Technician at Staples. From 2017 to 2021, Austin worked at Western Governors University as an Associate Contact Center Engineer, Associate Cloud Engineer, and Cloud Engineer. Additionally, they were a DevOps Engineer and DevOps Engineer II at JobNimbus from 2021 to present. During their time at JobNimbus, they helped architect microservice designs for containerized apps running in ECS served via API Gateway with RDS, built the CI/CD pipeline to deploy microservice terraform and supported dynamic environments, and re-architected Jenkins pipelines to run on ECS making it more resilient and easier to maintain. At Western Governors University, they worked to improve systems and automate more processes in Python, improved the CI/CD Pipeline to ensure reliability and efficiency, and implemented a Just In Time Solution to enable engineers to get additional access to AWS during outages. At Bask Technology, Inc., they took inbound calls and chats to help customers with technical challenges. At Staples, they helped customers make informed decisions about technology products and assisted with computer/printer repairs.

Austin Engle received a Bachelor of Science in Cloud Computing from Western Governors University between 2018 and 2020. Austin also holds certifications from CompTIA, Genesys, CIW, Linux Professional Institute, AXELOS Global Best Practice, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and New Relic, Inc.
