Chad Bacon

Chad Bacon has held a variety of positions in the software engineering and web development fields. In 2021, they began working as a Principle Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer at JobNimbus. In 2017, they took on a Contract Web Developer role at NSR Ventures. In 2016, they were a Web Development Team Lead at Verisk, where they managed the design and implementation of a Java Spring / Angular admin app, designed and developed a NestJS / Angular SSO app, and discovered and implemented an optimization that sped up the runtime of thousands of frontend unit tests by 75%. Chad also held a Software Developer Internship at Intermountain Healthcare, where they developed a proactive monitoring tool, investigated and tested migrating an existing MongoDB database to DocumentDB, and wrote tests that exposed dozens of defects in production code. In 2013, they worked as an Information Specialist at the Missionary Training Center, providing excellent service to callers and visitors and retrieving data from databases containing thousands of missionary entries.

Chad Bacon attended Brigham Young University from 2010 to 2016, where they studied Computer Science.
