Josh Martinez

Josh Martinez has worked in various roles in the learning and development field since 2008. In 2008, they were a Supervisor at Cypress Court Assisted Living Home, where they managed a small staff of employees and wrote schedules for the dinning room team. In 2010, they joined The Cheesecake Factory as a Senior Corporate Trainer (Captain), where they mentored, coached, and managed five other corporate trainers on the team, as well as coached and developed employees for further development in the company, organized the training of hundreds of new employees, and facilitated two day training seminars to groups of 60. In 2017, they became the Owner of Executive Wash. In 2019, they joined LendingClub as a Learning and Development Facilitator, where they organized, designed, and launched career development courses, coached employees to empower their professional growth through effective IDP training, and trained inbound and outbound Collections teams. Currently, they are employed by JobNimbus, where they have held various roles since 2020, including Growth Product Manager, Director of Learning and Development - Customer Experience, Learning and Development Manager, and Learning and Development Partner. In their roles, they have led content, design, and delivery L&D teams to drive department and customer metrics, developed and delivered customer training on the software to increase product adoption, strategized on best methods to lower churn through training initiatives, empowered employees to map their career through effective IDP training, designed and implemented onboarding experience for new hires, and implemented leadership training to management teams.

Josh Martinez has obtained an Associate of Science in Accounting and Business/Management from Ensign College between 2016 and 2018. Josh then attended Brigham Young University - Idaho from 2020 to 2021, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies/Business Management. In 2022, they began their Master of Science in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Southern New Hampshire University, which they are currently pursuing. In August 2021, Josh also obtained a Certified Strength Coach certification from Gallup.
