Nicole Poore has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Starting in 1996, they worked as the Manager of Business Development at Therapy Force Inc until 2003. From 2003 to 2011, they served as the Vice President of Allied Operations at Onward Healthcare, overseeing recruitment and staffing operations in New Jersey, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. In 2011, they briefly worked as the Director of Development at Exceptional Care for Children, where they focused on grant writing and fundraising. Nicole then moved on to Agile-1 (DuPont) as a Senior Client Services Manager, responsible for implementing vendor management systems in the United States and Canada. In 2012, they entered the political field and became a State Senator for the 12th District in Delaware, actively participating in legislative matters and contributing to the state budget. Currently, they serve as President of Jobs for Delaware Graduates (JDG), where they oversee the organization's strategic direction, budget, program development, and fundraising efforts.
Nicole Poore earned an Associate of Science degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Delaware Technical Community College from 1990 to 1992. Nicole then went on to obtain a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Wilmington University, where they studied from 1992 to 1994. In 2021, Nicole Poore completed their education by earning a Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership from Wilmington University.
