Jeff Lau

Jeff Lau has extensive experience in finance and auditing roles. Jeff started their career as an Audit Associate at Grant Thornton Hong Kong in 2008 and later became an Audit Manager at PwC from 2010 to 2017. In 2017, they joined hi Inc., first as an FP&A Manager from September 2017 to December 2018, and then as the Head of Finance from January 2019 to November 2019. Currently, Jeff serves as the Head of Finance at JobsDB Hong Kong, where they are responsible for business partnering, driving business initiatives, financial planning and analysis, cash flow management, and statutory compliance. Jeff also led workplace engagement activities and oversaw daily finance operations. Jeff is proficient in various financial software and tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Anaplan, Oracle, Workday, and Microsoft Dynamics.

Jeff Lau earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from Lingnan University. Jeff also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Additionally, they are a Certified Public Accountant through the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and has obtained additional certifications such as ACA from ICAEW and ACCA.
