Kristi Spears Tanner

Kristi Spears Tanner is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in economic development and business operations. As the Senior Managing Director at JobsOhio since August 2011, Kristi led the operational start-up of the organization and initiated redevelopment programs for underutilized sites. Previously, Kristi served as Assistant Director and COO at the Ohio Department of Development, managing business development project transitions under Governor John Kasich. A background as Brand Manager for the Ohio Business Development Coalition included crafting strategic marketing campaigns to attract investment to Ohio. Kristi's earlier roles in the State of Ohio Department of Development involved leadership positions overseeing project management and economic development initiatives. Kristi holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Marketing from Morehead State University.
