Adam Krebs

Adam Krebs has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. 💠 Adam is currently employed as a Creative Technical Director at Joby Aviation, a position they started in August 2022. Prior to this, Adam pursued a Masters degree at New York University Tisch School of the Arts from September 2020 to June 2022. During this time, they focused on generative design dance pieces for the stage using various software tools.

Before joining Joby Aviation, Adam worked as an Associate Director of Engineering for Sidewalk Labs (Part of Google) from September 2020 to November 2021. 💠 Adam was involved in generative urban design projects and contributed to Delve, an acquisition by Google. From 2017 to 2020, Adam served as a Senior Engineer at Uber, where they led the engineering of analytical products for Uber Eats and Uber Movement. Their work involved data science, product thinking, design, and coding.

Prior to their tenure at Uber, Adam had their own company called Krebs Enterprises from 2012 to 2020. Here, they worked with various brands, music labels, and artists to build interactive graphics, data exploratory tools, and full-stack solutions. Additionally, they worked at TWO-N, INC as a Data Visualization expert from September 2015 to January 2017, focusing on developing interactive data visualizations and maps.

Adam has also been involved in advisory roles, such as serving as an Advisor for Made in Lower East Side (miLES) from 2013 to 2016. Furthermore, they worked as an Engineer at Skillshare from September 2012 to May 2013, and as a Web Strategist at LupusDictum from 2011 to 2013. 💠 Adam started their career as a Full-Stack Engineer intern at Gojee, LLC from January 2012 to July 2012, where they contributed to the development of a food and drinks platform.

Adam Krebs received their Master's degree in Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) from NYU Tisch School of the Arts from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, and Cinema Studies at New York University. Aside from their formal education, Adam also obtained certifications as a Certified Laser Safety Officer (CLSO) from ILDA in July 2022 and as a Fireworks Display Operator from PYROTECHNICS GUILD INTL INC in April 2022. Additionally, Adam holds the "Certified Badass" certification, which was obtained in July 2001.
