Daniel Adamson has a diverse work experience starting in 2001 as a Carpenter for Sunburst Construction. Daniel began as an apprentice and worked during school breaks until 2009. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as a Math Tutor at Cabrillo College. In 2013, Daniel joined Joby Aviation as a Mechanical Engineering Intern, where they used SolidWorks and HSMWorks CAM software to design and build parts and molds for the composite team. Daniel also conducted FEA analysis and made parts using manual tools. Since 2015, they have been serving as the Router Team Lead and Composites Development Engineer at Joby Aviation. In this role, they lead a team of 10 people, handles composite parts trimming and tooling, and works on process improvement and hiring and training new team members.
Daniel Adamson began their education in 2007 at Cabrillo College, where they pursued multiple areas of study. Over a span of five years, from 2007 to 2012, they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Engineering, an Associate's Degree in Economics, an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies, and an Associate's Degree in Physics. Following their time at Cabrillo College, Daniel went on to attend San Jose State University from 2012 to 2015, where they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
