David Oda

David Oda has a diverse work experience spanning various engineering roles. David worked at Joby Aviation as a Software Verification Engineer starting in October 2020. Prior to that, they were employed at Zodiac Inflight Innovations, where they held the positions of Senior Test Engineer from October 2017 to October 2020, and Test Engineer from December 2014 to October 2017. David was a System Test Engineer at Volcano Corporation from December 2013 to December 2014. In 2012, David worked as a Summer Researcher at the Center for Information Technology Research in the Interest of Society (CITRIS), and as an Intro Mechatronics Tutor at UC Santa Cruz. David also gained experience as an Undergraduate Researcher at the UC Santa Cruz Bionics Lab from February 2010 to June 2011.

David Oda completed their education in a chronological manner. David first attended the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Bioengineering. Following this, they pursued further education at UC San Diego from 2012 to 2013, earning a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Bioengineering.

In addition to their formal education, David Oda also obtained a certification in ISTQB Certified Tester, Foundation Level from ASTQB in November 2014.
