Edgar Rodriguez

Edgar Rodriguez currently serves as Tooling Metrology Lead and Metrology Engineer at Joby Aviation since January 2023, following a significant tenure at ICON Aircraft as a Tooling Designer specializing in laser tracker technology from October 2017 to January 2023. Prior experience includes working as a Tool Designer at DIMETRICA GROUP from April 2015 to September 2017, where responsibilities involved creating detailed component drawings and conducting tolerance analyses. Edgar began the career as a Computer Aided Design Designer at Soluciones en Diseño y Manufactura from June 2010 to March 2015, focusing on 3D surface scanning and SCAN-TO-CAD projects for reverse engineering. Edgar holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Product Design from Universidad de Guadalajara and a Master's degree in Education from Universidad del Valle de Atemajac.
