He (Andy) Yun

Dr. Yun works for Joby Aviation as a Design for Reliability Engineer, focusing on performing life failure rate prediction, driving FMEA, conducting physics-of-failure based analysis, and creating accelerated stress test plans (thermal cycling/shock, random vibration, humidity test, and mechanical shock, etc) on various airborne electronic and electromechanical equipment.

Dr. Yun obtained Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maryland in May 2023. During his Ph.D study, he was also a Graduate Research Assistant at Center for Advanced Life Cycle Engineering (CALCE).
