Jonathan Simms

Jonathan Simms has a diverse work experience spanning various technological roles. Jonathan began their career as an intern at Cisco Systems in 2010. Afterward, they worked as a Technical Support/IT Administrator at Catbird Networks from 2009 to 2011, where they handled network administration, system administration, and quality assurance tasks. In 2011, they joined Cisco Systems again as a Network Engineer, responsible for managing a large virtual environment and building a production lab. Simms then moved to Catbird, a Cyxtera Business, in 2012 and held the positions of Senior DevOps Engineer and Senior Network Systems Engineer. Jonathan managed Catbird VMware development and QA environment and administered VMware ESX/ESXi vSphere. In 2017, Simms transitioned to Cyxtera Technologies as an Infrastructure Engineer. Lastly, in 2019, they joined Joby Aviation and has held roles as a Software Technician, Senior Software Technician, and currently as a Staff Software Technician.
