Kevin Carosso

Kevin Carosso has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Kevin is currently working as a Software Engineering Lead at Joby Aviation since February 2018. Previously, they served as a Software Architect at Imprivata from July 2011 to January 2018. Prior to that, they held the position of VP, Engineering at Validus Medical Systems, Inc from December 2002 to July 2011. Kevin has also worked as a Director, Software Engineering at Sun Microsystems, Inc from 2000 to 2002. Additionally, they co-founded Innosoft International, Inc in 1987 and served as the Co-Founder & VP, Engineering until 2000. Before that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Network Research Corp in 1987 and as a Member Technical Staff at Hughes Aircraft Company from 1982 to 1987.

Kevin Carosso attended Harvey Mudd College from 1978 to 1982, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics. Before that, they studied at TASIS England from 1977 to 1978, but it is unclear if they obtained a degree or field of study during this time. Additionally, Kevin attended Punahou School and TASIS, but the specific years and any degrees or field of study are unknown. In terms of certifications, they are a Commercial Pilot with ratings in C/ASEL, C/AMEL, and C/INSTA obtained from the Federal Aviation Administration. Kevin also possesses a Remote Pilot certification in U/SUAS.
