Matthias Kattanek

Matthias Kattanek has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Matthias is currently working at Joby Aviation as an Embedded Software Engineer since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Poly as a Staff Firmware Engineer from March 2019 to June 2021, where they contributed to the development of the Poly Elara 60 device. Matthias also held the position of Technical Director at Dr. Neuhaus Mikroelektronik from September 1993 to October 1994, leading data communication projects for various companies. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Developer and Project Manager at Dr. Neuhaus Mikroelektronik from July 1985 to July 1992, where they developed a data concentrator and worked on a Philips CT Controller project for XRAY image storage. At the beginning of their career, Matthias worked as a Design Engineer at SOFTAL, where they were involved in the design of surface treatment machines used in the printing industry.
