Michael Hong's work experience begins in 1999 as a Help desk/System Administrator for the Sequoia Union High School District. From 2005 to 2009, they worked as a Help desk/System Administrator at Kensington Investment Group, where they provided assistance to users and managed Microsoft servers and the Blackberry server.
Starting in 2009, Michael joined Forward Investing as a Network & Systems Administrator, where they built and maintained IT systems, implemented a business continuity plan, and ensured system reliability.
In 2015, they became a Senior System Administrator at Salient, leading the IT migration and managing Evernote accounts.
In 2017, Michael worked at Orinda Asset Management as a Systems Administrator, handling Google Suite and Dropbox administration.
From 2017 to 2022, they were at Brightloom, initially as a Technical Support Technician II, responsible for overall IT support, and later as an IT Manager.
Currently, Michael is employed at Joby Aviation as an IT Site Administrator, starting in November 2022.
Michael Hong attended the University of California, Santa Cruz from 1999 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. In June 2022, they also obtained certification as a Slack Certified Admin from Slack.
