Nicholas Ivy has a diverse work experience in various industries. Nicholas started their career as a High School Explainer at Helix by Exploratorium in 2014. In 2015, they worked as an Intern at TrustTheVote Project, where they built a REST API and connected it to a database framework using Ruby on Rails. Nicholas also had a role as a Software Engineering Intern at Juniper Networks, where they worked on automation scripts for testing frameworks.

From 2015 to 2018, Nicholas worked at UC Santa Cruz as an ITS Depot Tech, responsible for maintaining and imaging staff computers. Nicholas also provided remote assistance to clients through TeamViewer Quicksupport.

In 2016, Nicholas joined Formula Slug as the Low Voltage Circuitry Lead and worked on low voltage circuitry projects.

Nicholas'smost recent position was at Joby Aviation, where they initially worked as an Electrical Engineering Intern. Nicholas assisted with various tasks related to assembling and testing propulsion motors and wire harness and system enclosure construction. Nicholas later transitioned into the role of an Electrical Engineer, which is ongoing.

Nicholas Ivy pursued their education starting from 2010 to 2014 at Menlo-Atherton High School. Nicholas completed their high school education during this period. Later, from 2014 to 2018, Nicholas attended the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering.
