Tamra Owens

Tamra Owens has a diverse range of work experience in various roles within the field of human resources. Tamra started their career at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they served as the Director of Operations and Founder of the SUA Food Pantry/Lounge Program. During their time there, they successfully established and managed a food pantry that provided nutritious food to over 1,500 students per month.

Tamra then went on to gain experience in different organizations, including Whiting's Foods, Inc as a Human Resource & Recruiting Intern, Plantronics as a Sales Compensation Analyst and HR Solutions Intern, Verb Surgical Inc as a People Operations Coordinator, Interim, Inc as a Human Resources Specialist, and Santa Cruz County Bank as a Human Resources Generalist.

Currently, Tamra is working as a People Generalist at Joby Aviation. With their extensive background in human resources, they have developed a strong skill set in areas such as employee relations, recruitment, training, and operations.

Tamra Owens received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Accounting and Business/Management from the University of California, Santa Cruz, between the years 2014 and 2018.
