Koustav Dey

Koustav Dey is the Co-Founder at Jodo. Koustav has also worked as an Investment Professional at Matrix Partners from May 2017 to May 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Summer Associate at McKinsey & Company from April 2016 to May 2016 where they developed a digital roadmap for sales and marketing of a cement major to improve channel efficiency. Koustav also conducted a 'Digital Hackathon' on 'Complaint Resolution' along with McKinsey Digital Labs. Koustav has also worked as a Quantitative Analyst at Morgan Stanley from July 2013 to July 2015 where they were the sole liaison between NY strats and credit risk for treasury for a portfolio worth over 20 $bn+. Koustav also developed a regression model to map the portfolio against IR,FX, Equity and Commodity factors and achieved a prediction accuracy of over 95%. The treasury report used by MS top management for Basel III regulators was migrated by him to a web based metric tool that replaced 40+ excels. Koustav was also the team lead with S&P NY where they assessed and coordinated credit quality of CDOs ($10 mn+) for MS Credit Ratings.

Koustav Dey has completed a post-graduate programme in management from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, where they were a Directors Merit List Scholar (top 5%). Koustav also has an MBA from EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht. Their undergraduate degree is in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Koustav has also completed high school from Jawahar Vidya Mandir, Shyamali, Ranchi and St. Thomas School, Ranchi.
