Neil van der Weele

Neil van Der Weele is a prominent figure in the advertising industry, currently serving as the Strategic Initiatives Director and Board Director at Joe Public South Africa since June 2010, where the agency has achieved numerous accolades including being ranked #1 in Africa & the Middle East for multiple years and earning the Transformation Award in 2024. Neil is also the Founder and Chairman of Cumulus Blue, providing consultancy in business, marketing, and brand strategy to various leading companies. Previous roles include Non-Executive Director at Machine, Regional President for Asia Pacific at Draftfcb, and Group Chief Executive at Draftfcb South Africa. Neil holds a B.Sc (Hons) degree in Meteorology and Oceanography from the University of Cape Town.
