Dan Folsted

Dan Folsted has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Dan is currently working at JOE & THE JUICE as the Global Head of People Development, responsible for optimizing employee engagement and creating a people development strategy across multiple countries and locations. Previously, they served as the Senior People Engagement Partner and Interim Head of People & Culture at JOE & THE JUICE.

Before joining JOE & THE JUICE, Dan worked at Magasin du Nord as a Sales Manager and Operations Manager, where they were responsible for various tasks such as creating a retail business strategy, optimizing operational sales performance, and managing a large team of employees. Dan also worked at BESTSELLER as a Retail Area Manager and Training Area Manager, where they focused on training and coaching employees to enhance customer and employee engagement.

Dan has also worked at Telenor as a Senior Process Consultant and Senior Strategy Consultant, focusing on strategic development and optimization of the company's retail operations. Additionally, they have experience working at Humac A/S in roles such as Country Sales Optimizer, Store Manager, and Sales Assistant.

Furthermore, Dan was a Managing Partner at Slikhaarshop A/S, where they were involved in the start-up and creation of the company's online store and hair salon.

Dan Folsted began their education in 2007 at Aarhus Business College, where they earned an Academy Profession degree in Marketing Management in 2009. Later that same year, they attended Aarhus BSS - Aarhus University and obtained a HA int. (Summer University) degree in International trade & investments.

In 2011, Dan enrolled at Copenhagen Business Academy and pursued a Bachelor's degree, earning a Diploma of Management in 2014. Dan then furthered their education in 2018 by pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Middlesex University, completing the program in 2019.

In terms of additional certifications, Dan obtained the Open Water Diver certification from PADI in April 2016. Dan also became an International Certified Coach (ICC) through the International Coaching Community in October 2012.

More recently, in 2023, Dan attended Harvard Business School and obtained a Certificate in Strategy Execution.
