Cristina Janney

Cristina Janney is an experienced journalist with a robust background in editorial roles spanning several years. Currently serving as the Editor at Hays Post since May 2023, Cristina has previously held the position of Managing Editor at McPherson Sentinel, overseeing daily newsroom operations and multimedia content from September 2011 to May 2023. Earlier experience includes roles as News Editor at The Newton Kansan and Correspondent at The Wichita Eagle. Starting in the journalism field as a Reporter at Salina Journal and Junction City Daily Union, Cristina's academic credentials include a Master's degree in Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, both from Kansas State University.
