René B.A. B. has extensive experience in various roles spanning multiple industries. Since September 2012, René has volunteered at the Johan Cruyff Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the mental and physical well-being of children and youth. René has also been with Achmea since January 1997, serving in several managerial and contract management positions within Achmea IT. In addition to work in the corporate sector, René has operated as a photographer since January 1995, specializing in diverse photography assignments including sports, travel, corporate events, and interior design. From November 2010 to December 2013, René contributed as an editor for the website Van Rome tot Parijs. Educational qualifications include studies at Saxion University of Applied Sciences and Computrain.

The Johan Cruyff Foundation supports and develops sports activities for children in need all over the world. Through sports projects for children with a disability and projects like the Cruyff Courts and Schoolyard14 we create space for children. Space to grow. Space to make friends. Space to improve physical and mental health. Space to become who you are. Unfortunately we have had to continue without Johan Cruyff following his passing in 2016, but his vision remains the starting point for our activities, which have expanded considerably over the course of the years.
