Southwest Regional Sales Director at John Anthony Family of Wines

Alyssa Kitchens has a strong background in the wine industry, with experience working for various companies in different roles. Alyssa started their career at Eddie V's Prime Seafood in 2009, where they served as the Food & Beverage Manager and Private Events Coordinator until 2011. Following this, they joined Southern Wine & Spirits of California as a Fine Wine Specialist from 2011 to 2013 and later became an Import Specialist from 2013 to 2014. Alyssa then worked at Vintage Point as the Southern California Regional Manager from 2014 to 2017. After that, they joined Terrior Life as the Western Regional Sales Director from 2017 to 2018. Alyssa briefly worked at Miller Family Wine Company as the Western Regional Sales Director in 2018 before joining John Anthony Family of Wines as the Southern California Area Manager from 2018 to 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Southwest Regional Sales Director at John Anthony Family of Wines, starting in November 2021.

Alyssa Kitchens holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Grand Canyon University, which they completed from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Anthropology & Religious Studies from California State University, Fullerton, between 2006 and 2011. Before attending California State University, Fullerton, Alyssa also completed an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Anthropology and Dance from Fullerton College, from 2002 to 2005.

Furthermore, Alyssa has obtained several additional certifications. In 2017, they completed the Yoga Alliance 300 HR Professional Training program from YogaWorks, Inc. In 2015, they earned the WSET Level 2 Award in Wine & Spirits from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust. Lastly, in 2013, Alyssa became a Certified Specialist of Wine through the Society of Wine Educators.
