David M. Harris

David M. Harris has extensive experience in psychotherapy, sport social work, and performance coaching, with a career spanning from January 2000 to the present at Positive By Design LLC. Currently serving with the NFL Players Association since 2012, David provides counseling and advocacy services for NFL players and their families. As a facilitator for The Equity Exchange at John Burroughs School since 2014, David focuses on advancing educational practices regarding diversity and equity. David also holds roles as a performance coach at John Burroughs School, where mental resilience strategies for student-athletes are emphasized, and previously held leadership positions in educational equity and technology at Maplewood Richmond Heights School District. With a background as a head coach and educator, David's expertise is complemented by academic qualifications from Washington University in St. Louis and Cornell University in human resource practices.
