Peter McKeown

Peter McKeown brings a diverse background in education and athletics to their current role at John Burroughs School, where responsibilities include serving as Head Ice Hockey Coach, Associate Director of College Counseling, English Teacher, and PE Coach for grades 7 and 8. With previous experience as a 6th Grade Co-Lead Teacher at Community School and freelance writing for Patch.com, Peter has demonstrated versatility in both teaching and coaching roles. Additional experience includes serving as an Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach at Belmont Hill School and working in the hospitality industry at Vinoteca di Monica. Peter holds a BA in English from Tufts University and a high school diploma from Belmont Hill School.
