Sean Hansen

Sean Hansen currently serves as the John M. Boler Endowed Dean at John Carroll University's Boler College of Business, a position held since June 2025. Prior to this role, Sean Hansen was a Professor and Assistant Professor of Management Information Systems at the Rochester Institute of Technology from August 2010 to June 2025. Sean Hansen's academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Information Systems from Case Western Reserve University, where Sean Hansen also completed an MBA in Finance and Information Systems, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Harvard University. Additionally, Sean Hansen worked as an internal Business Consultant at National City Corporation, providing strategic support to the Wealth Management line of business from 2002 to 2004, and served as a PhD candidate and instructor at Case Western Reserve University from 2005 to 2010.
